Mission
Our mission is to preach the gospel to the unbelievers beginning with Ethiopians, Eritreans and all nations, and to disciple and equip believers, and grow into the maturity, fullness and likeness of Christ in order to glorify God through worship, preaching, prayer, giving and fellowship
Our Faith Statements- We believe that God is Eternal, all-knowing (Omniscient), all-present (Omnipresent), all-powerful (Omnipotent), True Judge, Holy, Loving, Merciful and Glorious, Who is One God but exists in Trinity: the Father, Son and Holy Spirit (Ex. 34:6-9, Mat. 28:18-20).
- We believe that God the Father is Almighty, the Author and Creator of the cosmos (universe) both visible and invisible (Gen. 1:1).
- We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, fully God and fully man, born of Saint and virgin Mary, lived a sinless life, died an atoning death on the cross, shed His blood, buried, and rose on the third day, seen by many saints, ascended to heaven, sat on His Father’s right hand, intercedes and prepares place for believers, will come back at the end of the world with Glory (Luke chapters. 2, 23, Acts 1:1-11).
- We believe that the Holy Spirit is Comforter, Teacher, Guider, Who produces fruits and gives spiritual gifts to believers (Gal. 5:22-23, Rom. 12: 3-8, 1 Cor. Chapters 12-14)
- We believe that the Scripture is the Word of God, has no error, breathed by God, and is a message of salvation to all humanity (2 Tim. 3:10-17).
- We believe in total depravity of humanity, that all people are sinful and fallen short of the Glory of God, but now God has prepared a way of salvation, through His Son Jesus Christ the Savior (John 14:6, Rom. Chapter 3).
- We believe that the church is the fellowship of the called out ones, who are called out of the dark world in order to see glorious light; that the church belongs to God, Jesus Christ is her head and foundation and we are His body (Eph. 1:19-23).
- We believe that water baptism is an ordinance by which a believer, not an infant, witnesses his faith by being immersed into water in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Mat. 28:19, Rom. 6:1-11).
- We believe that all baptized believers should partake the Lord’s Supper in remembrance of His crucifixion (Mat. 26:26-29, 1 Cor. 11:23-26).
- We believe and expect the second coming of our blessed Hope, Jesus Christ, Who will return with glory and power; and that all people will rise from the dead, and that nonbelievers will go to hell for eternal damnation, while believers will enter into the Kingdom of Heaven for everlasting joy (Mat. 25:1-46, 1 Thess. 4:13-18).
